The point of men
This film features Hwang Jung-min and Hyun Bin. It is based on a true story in Afghanistan in 2007 when 23 South Korean missionaries were kidnapped and kept prisoner.
This movie was filmed partially in Jordan and has only been delayed because of the spread of coronavirus.
It is one of the best Korean movies set to be released in theatres in the second half of 2022.
Hansan: Rise of the Dragon.
Director Kim Han-min, who previously directed “Roaring Currents” (2014), is back with another maritime epic.

A crime-action movie that follows Eun Ha as she becomes involved in an unexpected occurrence.
The protagonist is a driver who can deliver anything quickly and has a 100 per cent overall success record.
Park So Dam will play the driver in action, showing her remarkable driving talents.

Ode to my father
This is Korea’s edition of Forrest Gump, and it is arguably of the nation’s most popular films.
It chronicles the life of a little boy named Deok-soo, whose family was separated during the Korean War’s Hungnam Evacuation. His father and sister were forced to remain north, while he and his mum were allowed to go south.
The film highlights major events in the country’s past from the 1950s to the present.
Deok-soo, the main character, goes through these trying times as he seeks to elevate his own family out of poverty while also starting his own family.
Sweepers in Space
It’s 2092, and humanity has colonized the stars, where even trash traders may earn a living.
A motley crew of junkers travels the cosmos on The Victory’s spacecraft to pursue the strongest and most precious of treasures.
Dorothy, a mystery device, is their most recent find. Dorothy is a far more lethal weapon capable of immense destruction than she appears to be.
In this fascinating sci-fi adventure, it doesn’t take long for a business deal to go bad.
Veteran
This movie follows a classic formula: tough police investigator Seo Do-Cheol is committed to bringing selfish millionaire Jo Tae-oh, who controls his criminal organization, to justice.
Veteran also has a strong moral component since it examines societal inequalities and power abuses in Korean culture.
With the film’s serious subject matter, it’s nevertheless truly entertaining, effortlessly alternating between comedy and drama.
The actors are also fantastic. Yoo Ah-in, who plays Jo, is wonderfully nasty, and Seo Do-Cheol, who plays the cop set on bringing him down.
The veteran is an entertaining action film that will go down especially well with a big bowl of popcorn.
Night in Paradise
Night in Paradise, a Netflix Original film, is a terrific pick if you’re seeking a classic crime thriller in the tradition of South Korean directors.
Uhm Tae-goo plays Park Tae-goo, a gangster who refuses to join the rival Bukseong gang, leading to the killing of his whole family.
Tae-goo then retaliates by assassinating the perpetrators before fleeing to Jeju, a beautiful island.
He meets Kim Jae-Yeon, played by Jeon Yeo-been, a woman with a terminal illness who has just months to live, and the two create an emotional bond.
On the other side, Tae-problems follow him to the island while the Bukseong gang pursues him.
South Koreans have a knack for writing intricate and interesting vengeance stories featuring intriguing antiheroes.
Turn in for Love
Tune in for Love is a romantic love story spanning several years that follows star-crossed lovers Hyun-woo and Mi-soo through the ups and downs of their relationship, starring Jung Hae-in as Hyun-woo and Kim Go-Eun as Mi-Soo.
They were close when they first met in 1994 at Mi-bakery, soo’s, but odd circumstances kept them apart.
The two can’t get a break, whether it’s a lost email password, a damaged phone, or even jail time.
Despite this, Mi-soo and Hyun-woo have continued to seek each other out over the years, determined to be with the other person no matter what difficulties life throws in their way.
Tune in for Love is an excellent pick if you’re looking for a heartfelt, understated romance.
The Bros
The Bros is a funny misadventure about two very different, estranged brothers who are compelled to work together when their father dies as they go through the Korean funeral rites.
Chang You-Jeong directed the picture, which stars Ma Dong-Seok, as Lee Seok-bong and Lee Dong-Hwi as Lee Joo-bong.
Seok-bong is the elder, more immature brother, a history teacher whose one major goal is to unearth hidden wealth on the family’s estate.
Joo-bong is the diligent, ambitious younger brother who tries to convince his family to sell the land.
Since their mother’s death, the two haven’t seen or spoken to one other, so there’s a lot to deal through.
To make matters worse, the brothers hit Lee Hanee’s character, Oh Ro-ra, at their father’s burial, causing her to lose her memory.
The Bros is a dramedy about two brothers seeking to rebuild their relationship in the middle of an unusual situation.
It’s hilarious, and you can’t help but root for these warring brothers and the lady who pulls them back together after hearing their complete story.
All Of Us Are Dead
One of the best Korean movies right now, and it was released on the 18th of January, 2022. This movie features Park Ji Hu, Lim Jae Hyuk, Cho Yi Hyun, Yoo In Soo, Yoon Chan Young, Lee Yoo Mi, and Lomon
