Top 10 youngest billionaires in the world 2021
The following are the ten youngest billionaires in the world below the age of 30 and are arranged according to their net worth
#10 Katharina Andresen – $1.2 billion in net worth
Age: 25 years old
Katharina Gamlemshaug Andresen (born May 21, 1995) is a Norwegian heiress who, according to Forbes, is one of the youngest billionaires in the world in 2021 with a net worth of $1.2 billion.
She is the daughter of Ferd AS owner Johan H. Andresen Jr., She is Johan H. Andresen’s great-granddaughter, Johan Henrik Andresen’s great-great-granddaughter, and Nicolai Andresen’s great-great-great-granddaughter. Johan Henrik Andresen was Nicolay August Andresen’s brother and Nils August Andresen Butenschn’s uncle.
All this to say that she is from a very wealthy background. Is she self-made? The answer is obviously no, she inherited the money from her father the owner of Ferd AS who handed 42.2 per cent ownership holdings to Katharina and her sister Alexandra in 2007.
#9. Alexandra Andresen – $1.2 billion in net worth
Age: 24 years old
Alexandra Anderson is 24 years old and just like her sister got her wealth from her family inheritance. To say if the Alexander sister will stay billionaires in the next couple of years is not and can not be certain.
Although they are not self-made if they keep investing their money into the right place they might actually become even wealthier.
#8. Wang Zelong – $1.5 billion in net worth
Age: 24 years old
Wang inherited a $1.3 billion investment in CNNC Hua Yuan Titanium Dioxide Co, a company that makes titanium dioxide pigment, which is used in plastics, coatings, ink, and other products.
The company is widely known as it exports a lot of titanium dioxide pigment all over the world. Wang Zelong is also not self-made however, there is almost no possibility that he stops being a billionaire anytime soon.
#7. Austin Russell – $2.4 billion in net worth
Age: 26 years old
After obtaining a $100,000 scholarship from businessman Peter Thiel, Austin withdrew from Stanford in 2012. Russell created Luminar Technologies, a self-driving car business when he was 17 years old.
At the age of 26, he has a net worth of $2.4 billion. In 2020, his company was listed on the Nasdaq. Russell owns 104.7 million shares of his company or over a third of the total.
Also, Austin Russel is self-made and very well respected all over the world. Furthermore, he has created a career for himself as well as a lot of people all over the world.
The probability that Austin Russell stops being a billionaire anytime soon is also low.
#6. Jonathan Kwok – $2.4 billion in net worth
Age: 29 years old
Jonathan Kwok is the younger son of Walter Kwok, the former chairman of Sun Hung Kai Properties, Hong Kong’s largest developer.
However, Walter Kwok passed away on October 20, 2018, at the age of 68.
Walter’s direct share in SHKP was passed down to his sons, and they are named beneficiaries of one-third of their grandmother’s five huge family trusts.
#5. Stanley Tang – $2.8 billion in net worth
Age: 28 years old
Stanley Tang (born 1992) is a millionaire IT entrepreneur from Hong Kong. He is most known for co-founding and serving as Chief Product Officer of DoorDash, which he co-founded in 2013 with Tony Xu, Andy Fang, and Evan Moore.
Tang graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He was born and raised in Hong Kong, but now calls San Francisco home.
Furthermore, Stanley Tang is self-made and will most definitely remain a billionaire for a very long time, to say the least.
#4. Andy Fang – $2.8 billion in net worth
Age: 28 years old
Andy Fang and Stanley Tang, co-founders of DoorDash, each hold 4.2 per cent of the company. Before going public, DoorDash raised $400 million in operating capital and was valued at $16 billion in its previous investment round.
DoorDash was expected to be valued at between $23 billion and $32 billion in the IPO. The corporation has a market capitalization of $46 billion as of this writing.
Andy Fang is also self-made and has a good chance of being a billionaire for a long time.
#3. Gustav Magnar Witzoe – $3 billion in net worth
Age: 27 years old
Witzoe became wealthy in 2013 when he got nearly half of his father’s immensely successful salmon company, SalMar ASA, which is one of the world’s largest producers of salmon.
He also now has the highest fortune in Norway as a result of the gift, but he prefers to pursue other forms of personal expression outside of the salmon industry.
In his home Norway, for example, he holds a true professional modelling company with beautiful Models. This is in addition to his countless other business activities, such as his investments in firms such as the Gobi, a Snapchat competitor, and Key Butler, a service aimed at heavy-use Airbnb landlords.
#2. Kevin David Lehmann – $3.3 billion in net worth
Age: 18 years old
Lehmann has officially surpassed Alexandra Andresen and Kylie Jenner as the world’s youngest billionaire. On his 18th birthday, he legally inherited his father’s 50% ownership in the family’s drugstore operation.
Lahman is not self-made and as hard as it is to say he might not stay at the top for long he does not manage the wealth well. $3.3 billion is definitely a lot of money but if not managed we’ll mount just disappear in no time. Money has wings as they say.
#1. Sam Bankman-Fried – $8.7 billion in net worth
Age: 29 years old
Sam Bankman-Fried, who started and operates two crypto companies, is the first self-made billionaire on this list. Bankman-Fried founded Alameda Research, which manages $2.5 billion in assets in the United States. He also founded FTX, a cryptocurrency trading platform.
This guy is not just a billionaire but a genius! I mean he operates two crypto companies! If it were left to me I will say this guy is never going down. But he might leave the list soon since he will be technically 30 in a year time.
