Review of Black Widow 2020

After waiting for a year and a half, the Marvel Cinematic Universe(MCU) is back on the big screen as Black Widow officially hits theatres. I will be doing a review of Black widow 2020.
Black widow $87million returns this last weekend is beneficial to the box office. But I expect the numbers to drop quickly rather than later. This is because it is not one of the best franchises from MCU.
The movie action is thrilling, the camera work is flawless, and the spectacular effects are consistently generated and presented. The movie takes place in 2016. Somewhere in between Captain America and The Avengers infinity war.
Black Widow happens to have genuine emotional content. It contains comedic moments, also dealing with some significant emotional issues, while addressing the awful brainwashing techniques used by an unlawful institution. It’s a good film because of the way it balances all of these ideas
Black Widow 2020 plot
The movie begins with a lengthy prologue that discloses more about Natasha Romanoff’s early life and background. Also, the presence of a sister figure, Yelena Bolava (an excellent movie foil for the impenetrable, dark Natasha, whose sweetness and sarcastic humour should solidify her spot as the latest fan favourite in the Marvel movie series). A foster father, Alexei, is most known for playing David Harbou in the Netflix series ‘Stranger Things,’. He invests a lot of energy lovingly talking about his golden years as Soviet legend, the Red Guardian; and Melina, who plays their foster mother in a major but short part.
After breaking the Sokovia Accords, Natasha finds herself on the running from the authorities, hiding. While she’s hiding, she gets a box from Yelena, who is going through her own imposed hiding upon finding a drug that frees the Widows from their slavery. The discovery of this substance led to a reunion between the two sisters.
Natasha and Yelena Bolava reunion was action-packed and emotional. This was particularly my favourite part of the movie. They plan to go back in time to take down the man who was accountable for their harsh childhood.
Their task, which featured an epic action scene and a troop of killer angels, was to destroy Dreykov, played by Ray Winstone. It seems like something out of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, except that there is no seduction and no romance, unlike a Spy movie.
My review of Black widow 2020
Personally, I think Black Widow is a good comeback to the big screen for Marvel. This is a wonderful movie with plenty of excitement, the brutality appears as real as it possibly can straight from the opening.
For the duration of this movie, I basically lived the character, Natasha. Without ruining the content, the twists are managed skillfully, revealing one thing at a time.
As a woman, I appreciated this film since it depicted females as strong beings. It is wonderful to see an emotionally balanced and well-liked female character play a beautiful role.
This film is absolutely a must-see, and it was well worth my 133 minutes. I would have really loved a longer prologue telling us more about Natasha background. But aside from that, this movie is everything good you have heard about it.
