Loneliness is a big subject, and it’s undoubtedly why many individuals don’t enjoy being single. It’s awful not to have anyone else around.

How to be single and happy
Don’t compare yourself to other people.
One of the secrets to being single and happy is to stop comparing yourself to other people. If you’re single, there’s nothing wrong with that. It can be quite liberating!
People in relationships often put pressure on themselves to find the right person and settle down immediately. That’s not always possible or necessary, though. If you’re single and happy, don’t worry about what everybody else thinks — enjoy it!
Be kind to yourself
If you’re feeling lonely or sad, try doing something nice for yourself instead of focusing on how much better other people have it: go out with friends or family; take a long walk; bake a cake; treat yourself to some new clothes; do whatever makes you feel good!
Permit yourself to enjoy your own company without constantly comparing it to someone else’s life choices (or lack thereof).
Be grateful for what you have.
Single people are often told to stop being so picky and settle down with someone. But if you’re single, it’s important to realise a huge difference between being alone and feeling lonely.
And while it can be tempting to compare yourself to other people who seem happier in relationships, it’s important to remember that while they may appear happier on the outside, they aren’t necessarily happier.
Many people who are in relationships are less happy than their single counterparts! So instead of comparing yourself to others, try focusing on the things you’re grateful for in your life — no matter how big or small they may be.
Exercise.
Whenever you feel sad or anxious about being single, go for a run or take a yoga class. Exercise releases endorphins that make you feel good, and it’s a great way to relieve stress.
Make friends with other single people.
The truth is being friends with people that are in relationships as a single person may be hard. Seeing them talk about their relationship may set you on edge and make you judge how you think. As much as purpose spend time with other single people like you.
Having friends around lowers stress hormones in the body and boosts mood-elevating chemicals like dopamine and serotonin. Getting together with friends is also a great way to forget about being single for an evening!
Stop waiting for love.
We all want to be loved, and it’s a pretty natural feeling. However, the secrets to being truly happy and single are to stop waiting for someone to come and change it.
Don’t wait for someone else to make things better. It’s easy to get caught up thinking that things will be perfect once you meet “the one,” and everything will suddenly be okay again.
But life doesn’t work like that — nobody else can make you happy except for yourself! So don’t wait around for your prince charming or princess charming; instead, take steps toward making yourself happy right now!
