FPL Tips 2021/22: Clementsiscot Game week 2 Prediction and betting tips.
Welcome to another edition of Clementsiscot game week prediction, analysis and betting tips.

How are you feeling after last GW? I know for sure managers that own the duo Salah and Bruno Fernandes are feeling untouchable.
When the average for a GW is above 60points, you know most managers are having a good week. However, the question this GW is, “Will those players haul big points”?
The opening fixtures saw a total of 34 goals scored across the 10 games which rank in the top 3 in recent times. That is definitely due to the fact the fans were welcomed back into the stadium.
On a personal note, I ended the GW with 90 points having captained Salah. Here is a snapshot of my team;

Even with most managers having a good week, some managers still couldn’t get close to the average score because of silly and common mistakes. However, to avoid those mistakes, you need to read this.

Before I drop my game week predictions, I will address the questions raised above;
Should I buy Lukaku? Will he start?
Lukaku’s return to the English Premier League is one of those where a player wants to prove a point so therefore in the long run he would be a very good asset. However, is it right to buy him now?
Personally, I don’t think it is time to buy him yet. This is because even tho he is familiar with the league, he will still need to get familiar with his new teammates. So it is advisable to stay clear and see how things pan out.
Also, Chelsea run of games is not favourable until GW 7 or so. That would be the perfect time to make plans on getting him.
On if Lukaku will start or not, I don’t think Tuchel will want to make such a big change from the off. I expect Havertz and Werner to start the game against Arsenal with Lukaku coming in and maybe starting against Liverpool.
Who are the top picks for GW 2?
For game week 2, the top 3 picks from defence to attack would be;
Trent Alexander Arnold (Liverpool, 7.5) – Kept 3 clean sheets in his last 4 games against Burnley. He made 10 recoveries against Norwich and also took 4 corner kicks.
Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United, 12.1) – Scored thrice against Leeds. Also, he is yet to blank against Southampton. In fact, Bruno blanked in just 2 away games last season averaging 7-8points per game.
Danny Ings (Aston Villa, 8.0) – Scoring from the spot-kick with his only shot on target, Danny Ings should be poised to impress his new fans. He has also not blanked in GW 2 for the past 3 seasons. Generally, Ings starts the season very fast.
Riyad Mahrez, Ivan Toney were unlucky to miss out on this GW.
Who do I bring in?
Over the years, people make mistakes of rushing transfer after GW1 results. However, it is usually always better to keep that transfer and have more detailed information.
If you don’t have Bruno or Salah in GW 1, bringing them in early without taking a hit seems fair because they will come good. But when u start changing Bamford to Dominic Calvert Lewin just because the former didn’t score might come to bite you.
Personally, I will advise you to keep that transfer to have more options in GW 3. Don’t just remove Saka because he blanked against Brentford he can easily score double digits against Chelsea. The same applies to Havertz and many other plans.
However, if you must make a transfer, make sure it is one that you can live with for the next 2-3 GWs at least.
Who to captain? Salah or Bruno Fernandes?
Burnley is somewhat a bogey team for Mo Salah. In his last 4 games against them, Salah registered 0 goals and 1 assist. However, last season is the only time since Mo arrival at Liverpool that he scored more points away from home than at home and we can blame that on fans absence.
Can the return of fans propel Salah to rediscovering his immense home form? I think so especially against a Burnley side not looking compact as they used to.
So if you are somewhat a risk-taker, I will say captain Salah since Bruno Fernandes looks like the choice of most managers for this week.
