Who are the top 10 basketball players now?
#10 Chris Paul

Chris Paul showed that he still firing during an outstanding regular season with the Phoenix Suns in 2020-21.
Paul, 36, continued to establish himself as one of the10 best basketball players of his generation, averaging 16.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 8.9 assists.
For the fourth time in his career, he shot 40% or higher from the three-point range.
#9 Donovan Mitchell

Donovan Mitchell is having his best NBA season to date and has stormed the playoffs. Mitchell missed a few games near the conclusion of the regular season, but since his return, he has been the star that the Utah Jazz needed him to be.
Mitchell has improved his scoring average to more than 32 per game in seven playoff games so far.
In recent games, he’s displayed some excellent decision-making and playmaking.
#8 Leonard Kawhi

The basketball credentials of Kawhi Leonard have never been questioned. He’s perhaps the best two-way player in the game, and he’s demonstrated in the past that he can lead his teams to championships.
Leonard’s performance has been outstanding.
#7 James Harden

James Harden has also missed a significant amount of games due to injuries, including the Nets’ most recent two games against the Milwaukee Bucks.
When he has been available, Harden has been at his best, and he was looking like a strong MVP candidate at the start of the season.
If not for the injuries, he would have been higher on the list. The Beard will play a critical part in the Brooklyn Nets’ title defence in the coming weeks.
#6 Steph Curry

Curry, the NBA’s finest pure shooter, had an MVP-caliber season while leading the league in scoring.
His range is unrestricted, and his movement away from the ball is superb.
Curry’s offensive effect and leadership are undeniable, despite his dreadful defensive play.
#5 Luka Dončić

There are a lot of ways to analyze Luka Doni’s extraordinary accomplishments at the age of 21.
To put it another way, there’s a good chance we’re seeing the emergence of the NBA’s next true alpha player, a player who may compete for the top spot on this list a year from now.
#4 Jokic

The 2021 MVP is currently ranked as the NBA’s 4th best player. Because of his passing and shooting abilities, Jokic makes the game look so effortless, and he has no weaknesses on the court.
Jokic doesn’t have to leap off the floor as much as other centres since his physical strength and skills are unrivalled right now.
Jokic is also the best passer we’ve ever seen in a large man. Denver’s offence is basically managed by the big man, and without his scoring prowess, the Nuggets struggle to win games.
Denver, as evidenced in the playoffs, will go as far as Jokic can carry them.
#3 Kevin Durant

You could argue that there are 20+ players you would pick before Kevin Durant if you were putting up a regular-season squad. Looking at Durant as a member of the Brooklyn Nets, however, is a different story.
Durant is one of the most gifted scorers in NBA history, if not the most gifted. I don’t think there’s even a proven technique to slow him down. He is now accessible and dominating.
#2 Lebron James

When LeBron James won his fourth NBA championship in August 2020, he established his status as the first of the 10 best basketball players in the league. Since 2011, James has made it to the NBA Finals every year he has always been healthy.
While numerous stars are competing for this position, James’ quest to be the greatest of all time keeps him driven to be the best player right now.
#1 Giannis Antetokounmpo

Giannis not only earned his second MVP award last season (2020 season), but he also became only the third player in NBA history to win both MVP and DPOY in the same season, joining Michael Jordan and Hakeem Olajuwon.
He is also the MVP of the just-concluded NBA playoffs and he is the no 1 on our list of the top 10 basketball players now.
