Sumo wrestling
Sumo is a Japanese sport where two wrestlers face off in a ring, attempting to push each other out of the ring or force their opponent onto their side. These wrestlers are often extremely large and heavy, but they must maintain very low body fat percentages to be successful.
Roller derby
Roller derby is a full-contact sport performed on roller skates by women. It began as an exhibition game but has expanded into a professional sport with thousands of players and teams worldwide.
Roller derby is traditionally played by two teams of five players each (four blocks and one jammer), scoring points by lapping opposing team members.
The jammer wears a star on her helmet and tries to lap the pack before she gets blocked; the blockers try to prevent this by stopping her progress with their bodies.
Koala wrestling
Koala wrestling is a sport played in Australia by children and adults. The rules are simple: The two competitors sit on the ground facing each other and then try to pin one another’s arms behind their back. Each match lasts 30 seconds, with the winner being the first person to pin their opponent’s arm behind their back.
Beer pong
Beer pong is a drinking game involving two teams of two players who take turns tossing table tennis balls into cups filled with beer on the other side of a table from them. The first team to sink all their cups wins the game.
Extreme Ironing
Extreme Ironing is a sport that was invented in the early 1990s. It is also known as “extreme ironing”. This sport involves ironing clothes while standing on one leg in as many ridiculous places as possible. It began as a joke but has since become an official sport with a world championship.
Arm wrestling
Arm wrestling is an activity where two people sit opposite each other and attempt to force the other’s arm onto a flat surface so that their elbow touches it.
At least one hand must be on the table for this purpose before starting, but once started, neither hand may touch anything until completion of the match or disqualification by the referee.
Competitive eating
Competitive eating is a sport in which participants consume large amounts of food in short periods. The current world champion is Joey Chestnut, who has won the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest eight times since 2007.
Extreme unicycling
Extreme unicycling involves riding unicycles up and down steep slopes, across the water, and through obstacles like fences and walls. The current world champion is Danny MacAskill, who has also competed at Wimbledon on his unicycle!

Paintball
Paintball is a leisure activity that involves shooting gelatin balls containing water, colour, or plastic pellets from a paintball gun. The game is classified as a “combat sport” since it is played on designated paintball grounds.
The game has rules similar to regular sports but also has its own set of rules.
Jousting
Jousting is an ancient form of mounted combat where two people ride horses while wearing heavy armour and try to knock each other off their horses using long poles with lances attached to them.
It started in the 9th century by Frankish knights, but it wasn’t until the Middle Ages that it became famous among nobles as a way of demonstrating their wealth and power via costly tournaments packed with pomp and ceremony.
Toe wrestling

Underwater hockey
Underwater hockey is a limited-contact sport in which two teams compete to deliver a puck across a swimming pool into the opposing team’s goal.
Zorbing
Personally, this is my best of all the weirdest sports out there right now.
Zorbing is the sport of rolling down a hill inside a huge inflated ball or orb made of transparent plastic. It is normally done on a slanted surface, although it may also be done on a level surface, which gives the rider more control.
The zorb ball can contain up to three people, making it an excellent opportunity to compete with competing families.
